We created a leading edge new media solution for this internationaly renowned abstract artist.

So far the site has won a Web Smarty award and a Golden Web Award.

The site is available in two versions and three languages. The languages are French, English and Arabic. The versions are the standard version and the video version. Flash does not yet fully support right to left languages and so we have worked around this limitation.

The video version uses Flash Video to incorporate a film of Salwa painting as the central theme and background to the site and providing a very intimate experience of the artist at work in her studio.

All the images, the galleries, the text of the site and the sections themselves can be managed by the artist herself by using a bespoke content management system built specifically to allow a non-technical person the ability to do so.

Salwa is able to create galleries in a way that she feels represents her Art much as she would do in a real world gallery.

The entire system incorporates modules to manage contacts and campaigns. This allows her to create a gallery, and email that gallery as an HTML email - much like a catalogue - to a language group of her choosing, in that language - all the captions for that gallery are dynamically created in that language.
